Thrift Projects presents
Rhythm: an exhibition and conversation on self, style and expression

December 6, 2018: Conversation 6:30pm
December 9, 2018: Exhibition 12:00pm

Thrift Projects (John Asuquo and Ginikachi Eloka) explores style as an expression of self and understands Rhythm to be a way of giving the soul room to connect with all of the things encountered and then letting what is absorbed guide expression.  This project includes a conversation coupled with an exhibition composed of photographs, projections and installation. Thrift Projects explores truths which feed the self and manifest in personal style.  Throughout the year, they've been curating clothing, objects and adornments and creating capsules which express their understanding of self through visuals and writing.

John Asuquo is an architect and designer.  Her body of work explores emotional design, using design as tool to enhance the human experience and evoke mindfulness.

Ginikachi Eloka is a photographer currently discovering her voice as an artist through experimentation and exploration in the realms of portraiture, and documentary — often fueled by writing.
